The path I take several times daily to the barn and workshop is lined with flowers that are in full bloom now. The second photo is a Clytemnestra rose climbing the ashe juniper tree. You can just see a bit of her in back of the white rose.

Sheal, that is rue, a Mediterranean herb that is bitter and little used here in the USA. However, it is a great host plant for butterflies, and the blue-green foliage makes a good backdrop for light colored flowers. It also spreads by seed, and I'm constantly pulling up seedlings or the rue would take over.

The path looks so inviting and pretty! This would serve as an inspiration for a walk to check out what is growing or blooming. I want to have one!

I bet it made your walk to the shop so enjoyable!

If your back path layout is so beautiful I can imagine what your front garden will be like.

It's a gorgeous path! It must be a great pleasure to walk there and look at all those wonderful plants and trees. I especially like your Clytemnestra rose.

Absolutely beautiful marlingardener and just love how your planting choices really compliment and are in keeping with the natural surroundings.

I do have one question though - is this the same path that you posted pictures of sometime last year - because if it is - as I vaguely remember it looking pretty good back then - all I can say is that you have done a wonderful job and deserve every compliment that you get :)
