Here's a cute idea. It does require a large number of pots to create.

We use some "natural" art in our yard, whimsical I suppose as well. A rotten middle of a log when my husband goes in the hills to cut wood for winter. He brings me good stuff for the garden.

Those are really cute, I don't have nearly that many pots though. Most of the ones I have are in use. I don't think I could actually spare them to make little pot people. I liked the little people though. I thought they were pretty cute. I think people with a pumpkin head are really cute as well. They make some nice garden people.

People are truly so imaginative. I love the idea with the pots, although I don't think I would have the skill to be able to construct it myself and keep it standing! I have bad visions of a bunch of terracotta pots falling all over the place and breaking!

I do have a tendency to often put things in the "too hard" category without even giving it a try - I need to get better at that!

Check out these cute mini ones I just saw online! Maybe I would start with those, first!

Like 16 years ago, in a magazine, there was a blueprint for a pot fountain...I painted and put it together. What they failed to teach me was HOW to turn it into a fountain. So I was left half done and an eventual fail on the entire project. Before the days of accuarate How To's and lack of the internet we have today. If you wanna make those big pot people, Im sure you just need to ask.

I love garden art and think it adds a tremendous amount of character to the yard. The art piece you posted reminds me of a local restaurant I go to called "Tio's Tacos." The man has created tons of beautiful art throughout his garden, made from nothing but recycled junk/trash. He opened a restaurant on his property and actually lives there. I'll post a few photos below. It's weirdly beautiful to look at, even though it's nothing but dumpster trash.

Haha! Better then filling a landfill. I respect the ingenuity.

@ kathryn crook...you should have a solar pump/fountain for your waterless fountain...guilt free, inexpensive. If there is one thing i will not be without in the garden is a solar fountain for the birdies.

If you want to see something hilarious you should ask @granjera to see her Rastafarian garden gnome:LOL:
