That looks awesome I would really like to have a look at the final image when its all set, I also love to design landscapes. The work that you've done looks professional in my experience, just like a skilled landscaper. We also have a small garden terrace and my kids love to spend moment there.

With rains and temp down it has me running behind
Today i got it dug down to 3ft i have a little primping before the liner goes in
I ran in to some of my kids old toys digging, This used to be the low side of my yard before i made it the high side

Freezing rain and more rain ,i put a pump down in it so it will dry out good before the week end

I am still not able to even get out into the yard without freezing my ars off! We had freezing rain and sleet last night.

DrC how deep is your pond going to be?

3ft one corner will be 3ft 6" for a leaf pocket
I laid some of the last bricks tonight
My Sandy ground has already firmed up in the pond bottom liner will go in this weekend for sure
40s tomorrow 50s Sunday i love this kind of weather to work in

I had to come in and warm my toes but i got the liner in and pond filled to my low rock level

The cold nights had me working inside yesterday. I made a form to make coping stones for some of the brick pond edge.
Its my first attempt , i have to repeat it 4 times . All my grandkids were over last night and they just had to get their hands in it,
The oldest is 6 and she went big with her name lol
I'm going to wait till late in the day to pull the stones off the mold , hope it works

Well its been a while and i have been doing every thing but finishing the pond
I didn't like my copping tile ,color or shape
I changed my form and added color and got something i could live with
I'm still making them and cutting them to fit before i mortar them all in place

i still have wait for the grass to fill in through the new dirt and plant some more plants,
I'm waiting for the last trim stone to dry, then i could trim the liner and set the stones in mortar
It has been a long spring project

I am amazed how well your coping tile turned out. Are you just using a concrete stain on them?

I use I bottle of stain mixed in the concrete for each 8ft pour
With the solid color I can shape some of the tight turns with my hand grinder and it still looks right

So im back to moving the old white rocks again
I added the steps a few weeks ago
I got the grass dug out , and built a wall with the rocks to raise the low end of the hill.
It took 60 bags of dirt to fill the low end up so far
