My air dancer working protecting the cherry tree. The cherries will be ripe in a week. The efficiency of the device will be evaluated then.

The air dancer my be working somewhat. I chased two robins from the tree with the dancer going. I moved it around trying to discourage them. So far in my experience the only deterrent is a net which is prohibitively for one tree,

1) It's unusual to get 3 robins together.
2) I thought robins were solely carnivorous.
Is it possible that the robins were after insects, etc?
Ah, different bird in N.A.

NA robins are twice the size of UK robins. There are about four probably two parents in my yard area. Sometimes they have two litters and the young mature very quickly after hatching about three weeks. They leave in early Fall going South to the USA to avoid the cold. Litter is three or four usually. They feed their young on earthworms then when the fruit comes into season they eat most berries.

The air dancer does work. I have fewer bird visitors. It is turned off at night and started early in the morning.
