Wood ash for fertilizer.

In the past I was afraid to over dose my tomato plants with too much potassium in wood ash. This year I used large hands full of fresh made wood ash on 18 plants and no plants died and lots of very large tomatoes grew. 2 test plants got no wood ash & tomatoes were not 1 lb. each like that others.
