Hi there I’d appreciate some expert advice on how the gardener has cut back a very old Viburnum canopy and removed over half the branching volume and with jagged horizontally lopped of heading of the canopy. Is this correct? Thank you BE in Perth

Never heard of a Viburnum canopy. I have three Viburnums , they are just shrubs to me.
