Hello all,

I have this older hibiscus maybe 10 years old... and often some of the leaves turn yellow all over the plant but noticed that this year it's happening more often.

Do I need to change the pot ? or is there an underlying issue ? I even gave it some fertilizer and watering accordingly

Yellowing leaves are a good sign of root crowding and/or lack of nutrients. It is advised to re-pot a hibiscus every couple of years and sooner if signs of root bound are showing.

At 10 years I'd say you are lucky indeed that plant is still alive.

Just slightly larger diameter pot about +1 inch. Personally, I would never use Miracle Grow....there are so many choices out there far better such as ...

Yes, best to wait until the plant is dormant..late winter.
