And I got rid of a LOT of branches.
Is now a good time to get rid of all the redundant branches before everything gets covered in leaves?

Ie the branches with no life in them.

I appreciate the help

As I've probably mentioned, wisteria are just like a weed. You can prune them at any time. Now is good as you can see which are unproductive or dead. But they rarely die.

Although the blooms are only just starting to fade....

This wisteria has "been busy."

It's already producing unwanted side shoots and will continue to do so for the next five months. It will be a weekly chore to remove them. This one's already grown above the post.
