I received a cyclamen for Christmas it didn't stay in flower long and my other windowsills are full so will it be ok if I placed it in the porch which has an east facing window but doesn't get much sunlight until its ready to come into flower again then I'll move it to one of the better windowsills

I keep Florist's Cyclamen (Cyclamen persicum cvs.) outside in Winter in partial shade, only a couple hours of morning sun. They bloom for months. Your Winter may be just a tad colder than mine, so a cool, east-facing room should be perfect.
