Phlox are winding down, lilies are starting to bloom and rebeckia are coming on. Now to keep up with the watering on newly transplanted perennials as we incorporate more grass spaces into the yard and take out perennial beds. Starting year two of the transformation.

What a lovely organised, natural looking garden @Jewell. Makes me want to pop over and have a closer look :geek:

@Perki here is my Sanguisorba... how tall is your plant now? This is only supposed to grow up to about a metre, but -

This one has gone mad. It has just overtaken the Buddleia

I think I should have divided this one, but with all the new beds out front, the back garden has been a bit neglected. I have lots of dividing to do there, and will be able to transplant into the new borders.....I wish I was 20 years younger though. Many plants are taller than usual this summer, maybe because we had more rain earlier on - but not half a mile high, we need binoculars to see the flowers (or a ladder) Sanguisorbas and Persicarias are so good with grasses, but although our favourite nursery around here has a huge selection of stock, we never find those.
