What's causing these see-through patches?

I've found these on two of my plants recently, most noticeably on my pothos. I can't see any little critters, I'm stumped on what could be causing these. Does anyone have any ideas?

Possibly it could be flea beetle damage. Normally nothing to really worry about unless they are in large numbers.
