What weed is this?

At least a thousand of these poked up this year. They grow and look similar to American Nightshade/Pokewed but have pointier leaves and varied green shading within the leaves. They have a tap root similar to pokeweed and grow quickly.

Update: I couldn't get the image of the weed to post so I made it my avatar! Hope its not some sort of drug!

The post image seems to have since become 'unfixed', but the avatar image remains somewhat clear.

This is one of the Smartweeds (Persicaria spp., formerly in Polygonum) in the Knotweed Family (Polygonaceae).
Many Smartweeds will at least occasionally have dark, central spots or smudges patterning their leaves. Persicaria lapathifolia and P. maculosa are a couple common species to consider, but flowers are needed to make a definitive determination.
