Not something that ever appealed to me but at the time, but I was aware of the recording as it was oftgen on the radio for a while. Lynn Annette Ripley, recorded under the name of, "Twinkle"

Sad to learn that she died from cancer in 2015 at the age of 66. She married a "Milk Tray Man" Graham Rogers, they were a devoted couple and had two children. He died in 2021
