I was out watering the garden this morning and I saw this little guy pollinating my vinca flowers. I’m pretty sure it’s a moth because she was very fuzzy and not as plump as our bumblebees. She also had a different flight pattern for bees. I did some research and I think it might be a Snowberry Clearwing. I’m from southern New Jersey if that helps. I’ve never seen anything that looks like this before and I’m curious to know what it could be!

Yep, I am pretty sure that is a moth called a Snowberry Clearwing. It is variety of hawk moth and hawk moth larvae are caterpillars that have horns, such as the tomato hornworm. The good news is that the larvae of the Snowberry Clearwing does NOT eat tomatoes
