Oh, you poor thing! All those lovely veggies just waiting for you to work with them. A day off isn't a day off, it's just a day doing something different, and playing with your home-grown produce is a good way to spend a "day off."

All my root vegetables are in raised beds filled with aged horse manure. They do well because it is usually COLD here in summer! Not like this year......

Me, too! It has to grow in the greenhouse all summer, but it does pretty well for this climate!
