Really fascinating shots JB. How beautiful having his or her lunch doing acrobatics. You've captured that magnificent iridescent green. I only use my Ipad for photos so I don't think I'd manage to show it off. I have lovely tiny honey eaters on my orange abutilon. I must try to get a closer look.

The long headed cornflower is amazing JB. I've tried growing cornflowers but to no avail. I'd love one of your variety. Maybe when it warms up I can try again. All beautiful bright flowers. :) So lovely to look at. Thanks

I always tell myself I should wait until the end of the day to share because there is always so much going on in my garden that I might find more to share... sure enough, a tiger swallowtail showed up shortly after sharing my previous photos :)

I don't know how we got to mid-September so quickly. I figured I'd better go out and take some photos of the garden while things are still blooming. Soon I'll be able to collect a lot of seed from the plants and sprinkle it down in winter to thicken the garden up a bit. It might look nice and thick from the photos but it's actually got a lot of bare spots.
