I have two what I believe to be Serrano pepper plants (not sure they came from a mixed bag of seeds) both plants are blooming tons and tons of peppers one has these weird patterns on them the other doesn’t what is it and is it ok or is it something to worry? The peppers are pretty spicy I would say at least 1.5x -2x a jalapeño

What you have appears to be a fairly severe infestation of mealy bugs. The first thing I would do is kill the bugs with insecticidal soap. Then I would spray with Neem Oil to kill the eggs. Or you could just spray with Neem Oil but the soap is quicker. Either way, spray twice with the neem oil about a week apart.

Is it to late for the ones that are already affected? Should I just cut them off and toss them? I apply 7 dust granules to the buckets and 7 dust powder to the plants is that not good? Just to clarify the white in the pictures is 7 dust if that was worrying you I was just wondering about the patterns/discoloration of the actually peppers I’m sorry if I was confusing I should have mentioned that in my original post.

Boy, that really fooled me. It looks just like mealy bugs. Those patterns on the peppers are a natural occurrence, probably from times of rapid growth or some stress factor. Don't worry about them. All it will do is make the fruit a little tougher to chew or you can just cut the affected portion away.

Yeah lol once you said that I looked mealy bugs up and when I saw what they looked like I put two and two together and realized I should have said I had just 7 dusted them in my original post lol sorry to be confusing. As far as the peppers go that’s good news thank you very much I was worried they were diseased or something!
