Zigs, lol, are these carrots? How is this possible they have such strange shapes? What did you do to them? Are they tasty?

Wow, I'm really starting to appreciate the pristine "perfection" of supermarket produce. Claudine, that is the freakiest looking potato I have ever seen! As much as I would eat potatoes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I would run screaming from that one!

Down here in Tasmania there's a variety of apple called the Geeveston Fanny. I'ld say this would represent it well.
The joke when picking this variety was only the men were allowed by the orchardist to pick them.

LOL I looked up the Geeveston Fanny apples and they don't seem any different from the normal ones.. so why would men alone be allowed to pick them?

Carrots do odd things if the soil is too rich, the wild carrot they are bred from lives in dry sandy places, so the tap root runs deep to find nutrient and water.

If they don't have to search for food and you do a lot of surface watering, the roots go all over the place.

Your no doubt aware that out in an orchard picking fruit or what ever is a lot of inane banter usually amongst males.
If a woman happens to be about the conversation would take on other directions.
When I was working on an orchard in the unusually named Four Foot road Geeveston it was said us blokes were privileged to pick these fanny apples.

Wow! That looks really gross. I would not eat any of that with the exception of the white strawberrys. I would like to find some white strawberry seeds or seedlings.

I would eat white strawberries too, they look quite yummy - somehow they remind me of white chocolate. I wonder if they're sweet. They look quite pretty
