Please don't tell me another hybrid haha... I've been searching Mammillaria and Echinopsis but no luck as yet. What's the general view of splitting clusters like this, or just leaving them?

Yep, i'd agree with Matucana.

You could pot it into a wider pot and let the cluster develop or take a few off to increase your stock :)

Huh, @zigs has taken more than a few from his cacti - the bloomin spikey things are multiplying round here worse than rabbits do. It`s like the day of the triffids :rolleyes:
