This is probably an easy question to answer. I bought some arborvitae in 2" pots without considering when a good time to plant would be. It's now the beginning of August and I wonder if I should wait another month or is it ok to transplant now and water more frequently? If I waited until fall I'm not sure where to keep the plants that are in the pots.

I didn't pay much for the plants and bought extra in case some die but I would rather have the survive. Maybe I'm overthinking this. I didn't do my homework prior to purchasing these. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It helps to know what climate (i.e. usda zone, or state) you live in. Do you live in alaska? or florida? makes a big difference. You can put the information under your avatar so people will know.:)
