Hey so a while back I added some of my home compost to a garden bed to improve the soil. Worked well except for one problem. While I was brewing the compost I was adding tomatoes on a regular basis and so a while after I added the compost to the garden bed all of a sudden all the tomato seeds from the tomatoes had germinated. There were literally 1000's of tomato seedlings. At first I thought they were my silverbeet seedling and because it was winter the seedling were yellowing and so I panicked, only to find out they were tomato seedlings lol in winter. I was cold composting for about a year before I added the compost. So yeah just be careful if you're cold composting and adding tomatoes.
