Today's Pickings

Black berries still going strong! Have at least a month before blueberry season starts. Still getting a few red and black raspberries so another mixed berry pie on the menu.

My blackberries are only in flower

Picked a few raspberries, don't have a lot of plants.

Spotted a mango sapling in one of our flower pots. How it got there is a questions I do not think I can answer. We actually have yielding mango trees but just could not ignore this. One more mango tree will not hurt. I have put it in a plastic bag for safe keeping and once the rain subsides it will be planted in the ground

Pulled 6lb and 8oz of more rhubarb.

Found 3 onions with roots in storage. Planted them and now I see leaves. Hoping I will get a ton of onions Wish me luck

Thank you. The weather here is not conducive to tubers. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Picked some blackcurrants, they're a sweet variety so don't need any sugar when using them.

Today's pickings were done by my husband. He's such a great guy!
I did something stupid to my knee, so he went out and picked squash and tomatoes. Lots of tomatoes! I'm lucky to have a good husband who will lend a hand, and to have a good crop of tomatoes!
