Rey, I've experimented with cherry tomatoes, and am going back to the Sungold next season. They are reliable, prolific, and taste terrific! Sorry I wasted two seasons on inferior cherry tomatoes.
Zigs, I love your hands! Those hands have done work and show you have competence and aren't afraid of getting a bit dirty (not naughty, just good old garden dirt). When you shake hands with a Texas man, his hands often feel like leather, and you know you can trust him. You'd do very well in Texas!

Got back from Scotland last night, picked this load today:

089.jpg

About a stone of rhubarb (that makes 8), 10 marrows, 22 cucumbers, a load of tomatoes, a bucket of spuds, 3 courgettes, the first of the fine beans.
Onions; they were still growing a little, but, with the foliage falling over, I decided to remove some, to allow airflow and minimise opportunity for disease,
on the left are Stuttgart Riesen, a strong German onion, which stores well, grown from 29p (38c) pack of seeds, on the right, top, are Zebrune, echalions, above Red Baron onions
on the bottom are Borletta onions, which again cost 29p. They were sold as spring onions which, if left, would groe into little pickling silverskins, but I thinned and ate, thinned and ate, and now, after giving half a dozen away, I have fifteen white onions, the size of a fist.

Note: all onions in above photo, and most are considerably larger than average, were grown from seed.

You done well with them, my set grown ones won't win any prizes this year :(

Your turnips look delicious, whatever the colour.
My marrows are just over-sized zucchini, variety, "All Green Bush", and look very much like yours.
