I've had the worst luck with sunflowers this year. They just have not been their normal size and vibrant growth; furthermore, I've had many that have produced empty shells for seedso_O. Even the growth of my Mexican sunflowers have been subdued.

Anyone else have this issue?

I don't grow sunflowers, but my Mexican Sunflowers have grown as well as they always do. Up to 9 feet tall again this year.

Pretty happy with the sunflowers here. The Cardinals are having a huge party working them over now that they are in decline. Next year will plant a lot more for the birds.

Mine are growing and flowering right but seem to be braindead - they only point east. I've always had sunflowers that track the sun.
