I used to grow them but i got fed up with the slugs and snails eating them when they were young, but they did grow out of it and that i don't do dried flower arrangements any more.

Orange Strawflower

Helichrysum. Genus of some 500 species. Commonly known as, Everlasting flower. Being of the Compositae/Asteracae classification, individual varieties have been renamed.
Due to it's ability to be dried and kept. It still remains popular in especially countryside areas. Providing in house winter floral decoration.

Cape Everlasting (Phaenocoma prolifera). This beautiful strawflower with vivid pink-purple bracts and tightly imbricate leaves is native to the Western Cape of South Africa.
