So the strawberries that I’m planning to transplant this year from last year’s bed…some of the plants look very different from each other, and I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on which will produce better? I may not be able to fit them all in the new bed as I had a ton of runners from last year, so I want to make sure I at least get the best ones in.
The first pic is how some of the plants look—really big, but brown around the edges. Some are less brown than this, some more. Some of those are definitely last year’s plants, but I think some are also new runners (that formed last year but after berry time).
The second pic is what others look like—really small still but pretty green and vibrant looking.
