Hi,
Does anyone know of any nurseries in the U.S. where I can source Strasberry (Frau Mieze Schindler) strawberry and/or White D pineberry plants/roots? I understand that these are pretty difficult to source. Maybe someone knows of a nursery that doesn't have a website that I can just call.
Thanks!

Thanks for your response and help. I am looking for specifically Strasberry strawberry variety, which I know cannot be grown from seeds. And for pineberries, the White D variety is almost impossible to find. Does anyone know why nurseries stopped carrying these varieties?

I'm not familiar with either strawberry. But I would say lack of sales or interest is generally why nurseries stop carrying a plant.

I have white Carolina, Attila alpine and wild Virginia strawberries in my garden. This year I started yellow wonder from seed and will be adding them to our 20 X 3 foot bed in front of our house for just strawberries. They neighborhood kids come by eat all summer.

I couldn't find any information on the white D strawberry.

I'm looking too. the only sources "in stock" are in england, from which plant shipments may be problematic. Curious why Ruthbx is confident they cannot be grown from seeds, which do seem to be available (with an $11 shipping charge to the USA)
