Scotch Bonnet Pepper - white leaves

Hi all,

after a period of very intensive growth, my Scotch Bonnet plant started looking pretty unhappy. I was wondering what might have caused these white patches on its leaves? I would be really grateful for some ideas.

Have you had any big sudden temperature changes during the past 30 days? If so this could be the problem. I know this sounds odd but sometimes peppers (and tomatoes) show yellow leaves at the bottom of the plant and the white patches on the upper leaves. This is caused by a nitrogen deficiency. I have heard of a type of mosaic virus that turns pepper and tomato leaves white and this virus is very aggressive. I have not seen it only heard of it. I would ask a local expert for advise.

Yes, might have been both actually. I've put it outdoors during the daytime on a few warm days and didn't repot since last year.
