I love growing chillies/chilis and have about 20 species and types from all over the world. Most grow very well in the house and I can get even the ones that are difficult to fertilize to fruit by going around with a small brush.

However, I'm having real problems with a Jamaican Scotch bonnet. It will not self-fertilize no matter what I do. I can get a few fruit by cross-pollinating with a chocolate habanero I have (that self-fertilizes like crazy) but most of the flowers drop off and do not develop into fruit.

I's a beautiful plant and the fruit are wonderful (and nicely hot).

Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
