I saw this pine cone in my backyard and wanted to know why does it look this way:

The first pic it's closed up and the second one it's open, it just looks that way and natural to open and close when it's hot or cold.

It's a cultivar, so as long as the pine forest is frost free and doesn't have too much rain it would love it there :)

At least the Guanacos would have trouble finding it among the Spruce cones :)🌵

I rather think the white fir cone might have been in someone's oven for a quick bleach ? ;)
