Hi!
I recent got a Russian tortoise named Theo and I’m hoping to start a garden for him to eat from! I’ve raised succulents indoors for awhile now but want to try to jump to veggies! I’ve planted some seeds after my first attempt with veggie starts didn’t go great but I’m hoping to get some advice! I have some options on where to put them, I can either do a window, under my grow lights or outdoorsin Washington zone 8b. I’ve listed below what all was planted, any and all advice is truly appreciated by Theo and I!

You have a super garden and it looks so cool. Theo deserves only the very best! One way to grow veg for Theo is to buy a seed planting tray and fill it up with store bought potting mix to the top. Buy some lettuce seed and broadcast all the seed in the tray. In 2 or 3 weeks the tray will be full of lettuce and can be harvested. You can put the tray on the front or back porch which ever gets the best light. Keep the tray in the 70 degree range(21C). There are a few good heat tolerant lettuces; Cos or romaine, crisphead, butterhead and stem (also called asparagus lettuce). Good luck
