Just brought it in from the outside and don't know how often I should water it.

I think the rule of thumb is to only water them when the moss around them feels dry. A lot of times they die because of over-watering. I would just check the middle of the sphagnum moss. If it has moisture, leave it for a day or so and check it again. If it feels dry, it's probably time to water.
