Sick Bonsai Tree

I recently got married and received a bonsai tree as a wedding gift. I’ve never had a bonsai tree before and don’t know much about their care.

We were keeping it indoors in front of the window but it started looking sick and losing leaves so I put it outside. I hoped getting more sun might help but it doesn’t seem to be getting better. Can anyone give me suggestions?

Too much sun not good for Bonsai as will keep drying out and become stressed hence loose it's leaves, give partial shade and more water do not let it dry out at all.

Bonsai is a Japanese art form using cultivation techniques to produce small trees in containers that mimic the shape and scale of full size trees.

Its an art form not a plant. Get it?
