Hi everyone,
I just have a question about my crown of thornes plant. I need to know whether it can be brought back to life?
My sister recieved the plant when our granny passed away about 12months ago and she didn't know how to care for it properly so now I've taken it on hoping that i can bring it back to life!
The plant has been around for years and it always looked lush and full of red flowers and green leaves. Now its got no leaves or flowers and the ends of the stalks are starting to shrivel and turn a dark brown/black colour. The stalks are quite tall, on the ends they have shriveled and almost feel hollow?
I've given it some water and placed it in the sun hoping that will help but I'm really not sure!
I'm willing to try anything to get this plant back into shape.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not sure what is wrong with your plant because it is so far gone. About the best thing you can do is prune it back until the stem shows some sign of life. It may not have any life in it. If it does have some life left in it, don’t water it. These like to be dry.
