I’m sure if this rubber tree could yelp review my care of it, I would be looking at 1-2 stars.. but I’m trying!

Presenting with dry leaf tips. Was living in a darker corner of a well lit room but has been relocated to a spot with a view by the window and mostly indirect sunlight (we live in Washington state, what is this sun you speak of?). I water it how I do most of my house plants. I wait until the soil dries out a few days and then give it a deep watering letting it drain. It does not sit in stagnant water. We’ve tried upping the room service quality and added some fertilizer to the last watering. The waterings have been about 2 weeks apart but noticed recently the soil hasn’t dried out much since the last one.

Any suggestions on how I can keep my green customer happy?

No one has answered this all day...I think you do not have a rubber tree. It probably is a dracena plant. It looks like you have a round pot inside a square pot...you should up pot the plant in the square one.. make sure you water it so it drains out the bottom. Keep a drain bowl under it so just a little water sits in it.
You are right, I’ve got the plant wrong! I’ll correct that. Thank you for your advice

I agree, it's not a rubber tree; I only know this because my neighbor gave me one and I planted it outdoors. However, I will say that whatever that plant is, it needs to be put in a larger pot.
