The weather is calling for lows near 28 tonight and near 30 or so tomorrow. It's rather windy so covers won't stay to well. It has been raining all day so the ground is wet and I do have some old leaves and other grasses I could use to make some mulch if that will help but I looked at my local hourly and it won't be below 32 according to that report for about 3-5 hours and tomorrow will be sunny. Any tips or tricks I can use or should I just relax? Normally we don't get a frost this late and haven't for the past long while.

Thin PVC Pipe and plastic over it is cheap and quick for a very short term solution.
