Are these ready yet or do they just have blight. I’ve read that when potatoes are ready their stems fall over and then I’ve read it could be blight and to cut the infected leaves off. Which does this look like to you? I planted these middle or end of March can’t remember exactly.

I don't know the real answer, but mine looked like that and my potatoes were pretty small still. About the same timeline as you. Planted early March, harvested a few weeks ago.

They are edible and tasty mind you. But no Baker's! Made a great pot roast though.

If they're first earlies then its about 10 weeks from planting to harvest, have a furtle around to see what size they are, if they're too small then give them a feed and wait a week or so.

As with all new potatoes, get the water on the boil before harvesting them and get them in as soon as you've dug them for the best flavour.

Add mint, butter and sea salt..

Enjoy (y)

Either way they are likely finished growing and might as well harvest them and enjoy.

furtle lol

How much water have they had, and what has the weather been like recently, because I suspect they may need food & water?
