Put holes in a pot or not?

I've extended my trellises to eight foot high because that's how high the tomatoes grow. Sweet peas and purple king beans will get that high here as well.

BTW parsley and most herbs are hard to grow from seed.

Self seeded parsley actually germinates and grows pretty well. I often make sure I have a pot of it which I let run to seed, then stand where I want parsley next year.
