Protecting Veggies as They Rippen

Hi all. I have watermelon, zucchini, and cucumbers I am wondering about protecting. Everything either is or will soon be climbing a trellis. How to do you protect the veggies coming through from falling off the vine prematurely? Nothing is coming up yet, I'm just staying positive and hoping for abundance with these plants and planning ahead. Thank you!

Zucchini and watermelon don't need a trellis. And as for cucumbers, we never had immature cucumbers just fall off their vines.

Use hammocks made from bird netting attached to your trellis(es).

It's all very well for people who live in a state the Size of Western Europe and a population density, including cities of - 100 p sq mile to say that sprawling plants don't need trellised.
We don't all have that room, so growing in 3 dimensions, where possible, is helpful.

We use the net bags that turkeys and onions come in from the grocery store. Just hang from the trellis.
