How do you protect your berries from birds and bugs...mostly bugs I think. Mine seem to be growing fine and producing berries, but the bugs get em before they are ripe enough for me. I'm about to give up on berries and tomato for next year and just do the cherry tomato, peppers, melons and banana's. Love me some fresh strawberry though. Maybe a cage over it with mosquito netting? They are in a planter on the deck rail.

I don't have the space in the garden to build a huge cage.
Also with 2 young children running around the garden, a low cage which you have isn't ideal :/

I've put 2 blueberry bushes in the garage. Sunlight can get in to some extent.
Also, my blueberries and strawberries are in pots.
Huge terracota pots.
