I feel silly, I can't remember what I planted in here. Appears to be two different variants and they appear to love the cold weather. We have even had a few freezing nights (briefly below freezing) and they appear to be doing fine whereas others have turned to mush and died back.

Hi,

Whatever they are they do indeed appear to be thriving; looking at the picture of them reminds me of "Jack and the beanstalk". (y)

Kind regards, Colin.

All potato plants look the same to me; I only grow what comes up from my potato cuttings from the kitchen and none of those varieties like the cold. If there is frost they die, but they comeback.
All I know is that sweet potato is more of a vine and will not tolerate even a light freeze. These are more bush like.
