Poison Danger to Pets

Next door's cat brought a dead rat in yesterday. It was only a young one and had been dead a while by the way it smelt. We took it off the cat and burned it as it was probably poisoned and the poison in it would probably kill the cat if it ate it.

There was another cat that used to hang around making a noise which has recently vanished, wonder if that had eaten a dead rat too?

Thanks for the tip because it is very important. That's why it's best not to use rat poison because it will kill cats and poison dogs as well.

It is also worth remembering that organic vegetable growing is by far the best way to produce our food. The stuff we buy from supermarkets is increasingly full of poisons.
