Hi everyone I have a huge Aloe Vera plant that I want to save! The stem is big/thick and kind of dried. There's no roots from the bottom of the stem.... should I place the whole thing in water or new soil?

Root the stem in well-draining soil. A gritty cactus mix would be ideal.
Please also post a picture of this Aloe. Seeing the specimen may allow us to advise more fully.
