I have been searching for this plant for 10 years. I was living in Buenos Aires, Argentina and came across it and purchased on a whim, it grew to produce the most beautiful iridescent fuchsia flowers I have ever seen and it flowers in the middle of the mild winter of Buenos Aires when everything else is dead, quite a sight! I would love tho be able to find this plant here and need your help. Please note that the stems are red. Thank you very much

My wife tells me that this is Paraguayan Purslane aka Portulaca Amilis. She brought some home a few years back and it spread everywhere. I have tried to exterminate it but I am sure I can find more in my garden come spring. PM me your address and If I find some I'll mail you some. It could also be Portulaca Grandiflora or common purslane as it comes with both red and green stems.

Thank you very much. I will PM you but I have to investigate how to do it
Just click on the envelope icon next to your name on the green stripe and start a conversation. It's real simple.
