A while back I was able to succesfully plant ginger from the leftover of a root I had bought, that I forgot in a corner somewhere and had made buddings.
However lately I can't seem to get it right again. I make sure to leave at least full knob of the root and leave them at the same place I had forgotten the original root, but instead of budding they just dry out and well, die.
Does anyone know how this might have happened?
