We have a lovely arc of 17 Pennisetum Red Head in the garden but now the bottle brush flowers are starting to turn and the grass has thinned out enabling my dog to stick her head in the bed. Following a £300 vet bill to remove one of the flower seeds from her ear (!) I am wondering whether it would do any harm if I just snipped all the bottle brushes off. It’s not very easy to just cordon it off from her sadly. Any advice would be most welcome! Many thanks
