Pear Trees Dead?

We have a few pear trees on the property we rent and they have always produced lots of pears. We had a strange winter that didn't seem to want to let go. We had a frost in late May which is unusual. The trees have no produced a single fruit. Is the tree dead? Or is it more likely that the late frost just stopped any growth?

There are leaves but it didn't flower at all which is what makes me wonder if it is dead/dying. I hope not though! Guess I might not know until the spring.

No, its fine, probably the frost or lack of bees to polinate.

If frost is forecast next spring, put some fleece over the blossoms overnight, but take it off in the morning to allow the bees to get to it.

Pear trees are very hardy. One of my old pear trees is totally rotted in the core and still produces lots of pears if frosts don't kill the blossoms in the spring.
