I have just purchased a hexagonal greenhouse and I am very limited in my knowledge of the do's and dont's for heating and ventilation.I would like to use solar panels for heating during colder months as I live in West Central Scotland.
Any assistance in what to purchase to do so would be very helpful.

Welcome to the forum :)

No chance of using solar for heating, not practical as it would take a huge amount of battery storage and even bigger amount of panels.

A ground or air source heat pump would help but even then you are talking thousands of pounds.

Parrafin heater would work :)

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

I realize you already have purchased a greenhouse, but in the future consider a partly or completely underground greenhouse, with a glass/plexiglass roof and upper walls. The ground provides additional insulation and if properly sealed and sited should not act as a sink for cold air.
