All strapped up now so hopefully my echium will mend. I've planted a couple of little echiums that this one had given birth to plus some osteopspermums which I was cutting back....waste not want not is my motto.

This reminds me of our neighbor. We just moved in this house for a week when 3 guys came knocking on the gate. They wanted to clean our coconut tree that is planted near the firewall that separates our property from the neighbor's. The guys said our neighbor asked them to come to us and offer their services. Out of disgust, my husband paid those guys to cut down the tree. It may just be a cause of problem with the picky neighbor.
