I planted these onions a while ago. I am not sure if I have planted them very close to each other.
They have been under direct sun and I have watered them every 5th day.
Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong? Thanks.

I am not positive about this but onions are heavy feeders. Perhaps you are not fertilizing them enough. Also I cannot tell how deep the containers are. They should be at least 6 inches deep. Watering every 5 days might be a bit much. Only water when it is needed and then water thoroughly and deeply.

What sort of onions are they?
Onions are fairly hardy.
They look pretty normal to me.

The container is almost 6 inch deep. No I did not fertilize then that much, that's what I'm going to do from now on. I have one universal liquid fertilizer that I use for all my plants. Is that a goos option?
Right now, only two of my onions survived and they have grown a lot.

They are red onions.
The two in the center are doing well but the other two are now completely dead :-(.

Like Chuck said containers may not have enough soil in them.
